\nNEW HEADQUARTERS[\/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text]The agreement between the Soprintendenza (government body for cultural heritage) and Feudo Antico for the management of the archaeological site will be presented on Saturday, July 10th.<\/p>\n

Ribbon cutting for the new Feudo Antico headquarter,<\/strong> an archaeo-enology project in the heart of Abruzzo, is scheduled for Saturday, July 10th<\/strong>, at 10:30 am in Contrada San Pietro, in the municipality of Tollo<\/strong> (Chieti).
\nThe facility complex stands on the archaeological site of the imperial era Roman villa discovered in 2013 during soil preparation work for the first replanting of Pecorino. The initiative also sees the creation of a museum site for the enhancement and protection<\/strong>
\nof these ancient artifacts<\/strong>.
\nThe inauguration will be preceded by the presentation of the agreement<\/strong> between Soprintendenza Archeologia Belle Arti e Paesaggio for the provinces of Chieti and Pescara and Feudo Antico S.r.l., during a conference entitled “Vinum bonum<\/strong>
\nlaetificat cor hominis\u201d. Archaeo-enology as an opportunity for development and enhancement of the territory.<\/strong>
\nParticipants will include Rosaria Mencarelli<\/strong>, director of the Soprintendenza Archeologia Belle Arti e Paesaggio for the provinces of Chieti and Pescara; Emanuele Imprudente<\/strong>, vice president of the Abruzzo Region;
\nLorenzo Sospiri, president of the Regional Council, Angelo Radica<\/strong>, Mayor of Tollo, and Vittorio Di Carlo<\/strong>, President of Feudo Antico.
\n“This is a great day for Feudo Antico. Under the supervision of the Soprintendenza, we have unearthed and restored part of the Roman villa discovered in 2013, thus making it accessible to the public”, says Vittorio Di Carlo<\/strong>. “We wanted to create a facility that would be architecturally as light and respectful of the surrounding environment as possible, avoiding tacky allusions and indeed clearly marking the difference between the work of
\nour glorious forefathers and the current realization. Thanks to the flair and wisdom of the designers who espoused the idea with passionate commitment, and to the workers who brought all their experience to bear, today we can enjoy this fine facility, delicately nestled between the sea, the Maiella and the Gran Sasso.”
