Guided tours, special openings -including at night- archaeological walks, artist studio visits, open access to restored collections, lectures: a weekend of culture

On Saturday, September 24th and Sunday, September 25th, EHD – European Heritage Days 2022, Europe’s largest and most widely attended cultural event – will be celebrated throughout Italy. “Sustainable cultural heritage: a legacy for the future” is this year’s slogan. It aims at stimulating a reflection on the sustainable management of cultural heritage and landscape and, at the same time, on how this can contribute to a more sustainable future – in environmental, social and economic terms – also in relation to the achievement of the specific goals set by the United Nations for 2030. The events, organized by the Soprintendenza archeologia belle arti e paesaggio of the provinces of Chieti and Pescara, are free to join and include lectures, guided tours, special openings -including at night- archaeological walks, and artist studio visits.

As part of this initiative, Feudo Antico opens its doors to visitors on Sunday, Sept. 25th. From 4 to 8 pm Dr. Anna Dionisio, an archaeologist from the Soprintendenza Archeologia, Belle Arti e Paesaggio for the provinces of Chieti and Pescara, will lead a guided tour of the Roman villa kept at our facility.

Each visit has a capacity of 20 people.
Wine tasting sessions will be possible during the event. And for those who wish to, it will also be possible to have lunch or dinner.
