Feudo Antico will open its doors to visitors and winelovers on the occasion of Cantine Aperte in Abruzzo, an event scheduled for Saturday May 28th and Sunday May 29th, organized by the regional Wine Tourism Movement, with the participation of more than 40 local wineries.

The event’s regulations call for the purchase of the “Cantine Aperte Kit” which includes an official glass and bag at the first winery you visit, at the price of 5 euros. Another 5 euros will entitle you to a guided tour of the winery and tasting of four wines.

Starting at 3 pm on Saturday, May 28th and for the entire duration of the event, at Feudo Antico (an archeo-enology project in the heart of Abruzzo) it will be possible to accompany the wine tastings with bread and Feudo Antico extra virgin olive oil. In groups of five people, it will also be possible to visit the winery, the vineyards and the archaeological area, the site of the imperial era Roman villa discovered in 2013 during the soil preparation works for the first replanting of pecorino, restored under the supervision of the Soprintendenza Archeologia Belle Arti e Paesaggio for the provinces of Chieti and Pescara.
