Important national speakers discussed the subject of amphora, from its history to the development of today’s markets: Vittorio Di Carlo, president of Feudo Antico, Professor Attilio Scienza, professor at the University of Milan, Helmut Kocher, president and founder of the Merano Wine Festival, Elena Fucci, producer and owner of the Elena Fucci winery, and Cesare Ricciato of the Tava winery, which produces amphorae. It emerged from the speeches that this wine-making technique, so ancient and at the same time so modern, is making more and more headway both in Italy and in Abruzzo with the production of very interesting wines.
